A summer at the Crossroads July 05 to 06 August the Centre Social and Cultural Crossroads in Saint-Gilles hosted forty young people throughout various activities. The timetable is very rich, proposed days beaches always appreciated by teens who have allowed them to "sunbathe" and find some beaches along the coast (the Crown in Martigues). The association has also enabled young people to discover cultural activities such as the Festival d'Avignon (play), a week in the heart of the castle of Saint Gilles Espeyran for "Gates of Time" where young people could participate in different activities (painting, BD). In particular, they made a short film on the life of the castle in the 19th century and are truly invested in writing the script, choosing costumes, front and behind the camera, all under the watchful eye of a professional film. The association has helped 12 young people leaving for camp in Meyrueis (48) to take part in extreme activities such as the via ferrata (esaclade) and canyoning (descent of a canyon). Not forgotten the cultural touch, one day at Millau held to allow young people to discover the viaduct. A second visit was organized Savines Lake, for a group of girls who wanted to leave them within a week and enjoy various activities on offer seats (rafting, banana boat by boat ...) graffiti workshop was closed to the young, very creative, and appropriating the reception room they occupy in the year to the premises and to make new skin for back. A well deserved rest for the Social and Cultural Center Crossroads which all activities will resume Monday, Sept. 13. The reception is open from 9:00 to 12:00 from Monday 9 to Thursday, September 16 and will resume their normal business hours (9:00 to 12:00 p.m. / 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.) Monday to Friday next week.
