I / analysis questionnaire CANTEEN 2009-2010
primary and nursery schools of public PARGOIRE ST.
distributed 220 questionnaires (one per child): 108 returned completed (49%).
A) PERMANENT Status canteen:
- Numbers and their analysis:
85 students out of 108 eat in the canteen (82% response) which are distributed as follows: 34 children will eat
4d per week (40%) for most always the same days throughout the year = PERMANENT.
23 children to eat exceptionally (27%).
25 children will eat 2 or 3d per week (29%) and will always eat the same day throughout the year or month (20% of 108 responses).
60% of children who eat at the canteen there are always the same days throughout the year (of which 20% are not considered permanent because there are only 2 or 3 days per week permanently Regular and fixed !!!!)
70% of children who eat at the canteen there are always the same days every month (also 10% more excluded from the permanent rate!)
request of parents Students: Consider standing committees: a child who always eats the same days (2 or 3 days per week) during the entire month.
20% of parents have called on the questionnaires so that normally there was no open question in this sense ... This clearly reflects a real and serious request.
Answer:
Redefining the status of permanent possible.
the Mayor is willing to change during the year.
If the decision is validated at the next council, the establishment of new permanent status requested by the parents (is considered permanent any child who eats at the canteen always the same days, 2 or 3 days per week) could be effective in February or March. A follow
B) NON-PERMANENT Status canteen:
- Figures and Analyses:
52% of parents whose children eat in the canteen can predict the days of attendance for all month.
24% Parents whose children eat in the canteen can not predict the days of attendance of their child than a week.
The part-time, flexible hours and variable precarious jobs are very common in the employment of women today. A common family friendly asset should it not relax its rules according to the needs of its population ...
request of parents: for non-permanent (day variable for 29% of children who eat at canteen) and to facilitate the organization of the canteen, would it not possible to set up a table on Monday morning (for the week beginning) to note that parents are the days present their child to the cafeteria for that week?
Answer:
the Mayor is skeptical because it poses several problems. A meal booked a meal delivered = therefore paid by the city + operating costs (staff). Meals must be paid in advance (reservations a month or ticket). Moreover, the reservation would be more effective if provided the Friday before the week bookings. Given these factors, we discuss the possibility of installing a panel of booking with a mailbox in which would be handed tickets canteen corresponding to entries (no tickets, booking invalid). After the problem arises from the purchase of tickets (convenience for parents with little present in the village) ...
We will talk again with the director of the canteen and staff to provide solutions ... A follow
C) Concerns of parents
annotated on the questionnaires to the parents' initiative, which reflects a real and serious request.
1) Loss of 50% of the canteen and " nursery "for illness in children:
- Figures and Analyses:
20% of parents also wanted to alarm us about the injustice of the loss of the amount of the canteen (and EALA ALSH-) in case of illness of the child ... Parents we spoke directly.
Seeks Parents: If parents warn EALA and justified by a medical certificate within 48 hours in the absence of their children, could we not give them a credit of hours dedicated to the care and the canteen at the first day of absence (to be deducted on future bookings or order tickets).
Answer:
The council has chosen to apply the same regulations as canteens Montagnac, Beziers and Pezenas for better organization. The staff is provided by the staff. If children are absent the number of employees remains unchanged regardless. The 50% offset to some extent the wage cost. So it will be difficult to establish a credit system.
A rework to obtain might be an asset (daycare-cafeteria) from the second day of absence (if warranted medical and having warned of course). Stay tuned.
2) hygiene in the canteen "washing hands before and after meals"
- Figures and Analyses:
10% of parents have also reported that children reported not s' be washed their hands before and after meals in the canteen, it worries them ... It is a measure of general hygiene basic respect for the non-transmission of multiple bacteria and viruses.
Application of parents: the teams of the canteen they have good ways to apply this rule of basic hygiene (notified Regulation on the canteen cf. HYGIENE)?
And if so, can we make a point of awareness to children so that it becomes routine?
Answer: she agrees to talk with the staff concerned.
II / OTHER APPLICATIONS delegates from parents of kindergarten and primary schools:
1 - The school group:
Many parents we challenge the need for a group school grouping schools, canteens, CLAE ... They are often surprised by the magnitude work and the cost of the stadium (not ranked team in need of such debauchery financial) so that schools are far more essential to village life.
Parents' Request: Where is the project of a school group?
Answer: No
group project at school. Very few grants for such projects as the stadium was funded at 70%! The Mayor plans as needed to expand and renovate schools. For now the proposed extension would be more consistent. Already, it is expected that the ground floor both schools are renovated. The Mayor tells us that the renovation of existing buildings is far less costly than building a school.
2 - Projected to varnish the stairs (rusty and very messy) and shelter's front door for access to the class of Ms. Fabre. The new access is greatly appreciated.
Answer:
- The stairs outside the kindergarten will be painted (dirty rusty).
- For a high wind, even if necessary in case of rain (rain with the wind between in the class), more complicated to achieve. A study in particular with the monuments of France. The Mayor noted that parents should not expect their children on the stairs!
3 - Proposal to hold a carnival schools. The date of April 9, 2010 was adopted: Spring Festival (at the old stadium) and taste. (Preschool and Elementary).
We have the agreement of the Director of Primary and expect the decision to kindergarten.
We will need parent volunteers to help, assist and supervise children.
4 - We want organize a garage sale Colleges: May (2 or May 9, 2010).
Answer: The Mayor agrees, anyway these two events do not require permission, except for the practical organization for which he will appeal to the town (if street closures need, availability of park Seeing is empty attic, equipment provided ...), we need to keep abreast of course.
5 - Would you agree that children come to visit your local (primary)? In order to introduce students to the various business actors and the village where they live.
Answer: It already does this. The Mayor agrees.
6 - Park Cabanis: recurring maintenance problem. Furthermore it lacks a safety bar on the cabin top (slide) and the tourniquet is dangerous because very deteriorated.
Answer:
Games Cabanis Park will be rehabilitated. The company that maintains it (2 times a year) should intervene.
It takes more to back the finding of degradation with the council.
7 - Link to Parents Blog students from the site of the town hall:
http://maternellesaintpargoire.blogspot.com
Can we have a page of information?
Answer: Yes to the link and information page.
8 - Parking: additional schools?
Answer: The parking
pebble near the former office of Dr. Grubain happen. Work will begin soon return authorizations.
9 - We need to find a quick solution to secure the pedestrian route to the schools: creating a path bounded by a "pedestrian strip" for more security
Presence of keeper enough.
Answer:
To secure the approaches to the kindergarten and primary school, the mayor of Berlin has installed pads on both sides of the roadway.
the Mayor reminds us that the prohibition of parking between the two schools on one side of the road had already been mentioned (prohibition on the side of the cabinet of Dr. Brochus). She'll talk again in council.
10 - Car-footed: 37 feedback questionnaire / 220 distributed
26 steps and 11 interested parties: thus postponing the project.
Answer:
shame because the mayor had agreed to take charge of the safety vests and insurance.
III / Additional information:
Ms. Mayor informs us of the creation of a micro nursery:
This experimental nursery shook a micro scope by the Association of Rural Families, CAF and MSA.
has 9 places for children aged 6 months to 6 years, as part of a welcome point.
Of Additional information will be given in due time by the mayor.
IV / Conclusions:
A big thank you to all delegates who contributed to this long and the Mayor for taking the time to study and take note of all our expectations.
A constructive first appointment. We hope to achieve
some points already well advanced and further work and reflection on others, while other appointment.
Preparation of the next school councils
In view of the board of school in kindergarten, we will establish two think tanks (one ground floor and 1st floor) where you can submit your questions, suggestions and ideas for school. We can thus consider and develop proposals for school councils to come.
