Landes

FARRE is a cross-industry environmental association which aims to promote and develop the A griculture R aisonnée and R espectueuse of E nvironment. Its members are mainly agricultural organizations, enterprises in the upstream and downstream of agriculture, and farmers associations.

In the Landes, a departmental committee was set up in 1997. The association Farr 40 was formed in 1999. Currently it has nine demonstration farms and 18 partners.

Association FARRE Landes is chaired since its inception by Jacques DUFRECHOU, farmer Sabres. The animation of the network is managed by Celine FARRE CAUSSE.

Each year the Network organizes FARRE Landes communications operations toward farmers but also the general public to explain their approach towards sustainable agriculture.
